Case: 2.K.HAON.19.20.21.22.23
Patient: 35-year-old male
Diagnosis:
Left hip joint: Grade IV femoral head necrosis. Grade III-IV arthrosis. Synovitis. Right hip joint: Grade IV femoral head necrosis. Grade III arthrosis.
Clinical condition before the procedure:
Persistent pain in both hip joints, which significantly worsened with weight-bearing, particularly pronounced on the left side. Increasing limitations in daily life, with sports activity not possible.
Images 1, 3, 5:
Images 1, 3, and 5 show coronal MRI scans of the right and left hips, illustrating the condition before the procedure using the ASGSSG method of the MIBRAR® system, corresponding to the diagnosis described above.
Operative result:
The patient was symptom-free one month after the surgery and could engage in sports activities without restrictions.
Images 2, 4, 6:
Follow-up examination images 8 months after the procedure. Images 2, 4, and 6 show coronal MRI scans. The bony condition indicates an intensively developed healing process at the necrotic sites, as well as the arthritically altered cartilage in both hips. Synovitis of the left hip is no longer detectable.
